Hey! I’m Caite, an avid vintage fashion enthusiast and owner of Kitsch Vintage. I’m passionate about sourcing, restoring, and finding second homes for authentic vintage clothing. I’m a seamstress by trade, which ensures my vintage is well repaired when required (which will be stated in the description) and laundered correctly depending on the fabric and construction of the garment.

Our clothes are original/authentic vintage and have lived a life before you have received them, any minor flaws are part of their heritage, character and charm. Each item is thoroughly checked over and any noticeable flaws or wear will be described in our listings. 

We strive to offer vintage in a wide range of sizes and fits to suit everybody. Detailed measurements (in centimetres) are provided as well as estimates for modern sizes (Australian ‘AU’ Sizing) the garment would likely fit. Our measurements are taken while laying the garment flat on a table, so simply double these numbers to get the circumferences when needed.  I recommend using a tape measure and jotting down your own measurements to use as a reference while shopping.

Kitsch Vintage always strives to be socially and environmentally responsible.

• Office and studio space runs primarily on solar energy collected from our solar panels

• We ensure all packaging used is compostable, reusable, or recyclable.

• We dispose of everything in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. This includes being diligent in sorting waste for recycling programs and composting paper and cardboard waste in our compost bins.

• We always purchase any business equipment second hand and locally when possible.
